Evaluation des tâches d'un projet

Principale cause d'échec ou de dérives, la capacité à évaluer autorise ou non une planification et une coordination réalistes, donc réalisées.

Pour le Chef de projet, la difficulté à évaluer provient souvent d'une sous-estimation de leurs propres tâches par des personnels qualifiés, spécialistes ou même experts du domaine technique ou administratif dans lequel ils évoluent. Des études sur la modélisation comportementales, confirmées pas l'expérience, ont d'ailleurs montré que la sous-évaluation est quasi systématique chez ce type de personnel, ce qui correspond à une surestimation de sa productivité. La surestimation est encore plus patente chez les experts confrontés à des problèmes nouveaux. Le dysfonctionnement temporel se traduit ensuite à minima par des dérives budgétaires, mais quelques fois par des solutions inadéquates, voire des blocages et des échecs. Le Chef de projet doit donc posséder un bon sens pratique (technique et administratif), mais également humain, afin de se représenter la réalité d'une tâche et de sa marge d'erreur, même quand il n'en est pas expert. Par ailleurs, il doit pondérer son évaluation par le profil des personnes assignées à la tâche, la culture organisationnelle et les procédures de l'entreprise. C'est l'évaluation raisonnable des tâches qui permet éventuellement leur parallélisation, l'anticipation, la mise en place de possibles "plan B" ou "plan C".

Integration times in the client information system depend on the ability of the client's tools to exchange with other softswares (data export or providing the conceptual data model to initiate exchanges with the databases). Think normally about 3 to 15 days by types of data.
